Our guest policy#
Note
This policy applies to anyone (so feel free to let your contacts know about it)
We value collaborative work and open sharing of knowledge. To accommodate this, we decided to welcome interested colleagues into our group’s online environment.
If you join our group as a guest, you can:
See all the internal information of our projects in progress
Access our group chat
Join our group meetings
In giving you access we trust that you will use it to our mutual benefit. To ensure this, we ask you to follow these ground rules.
Be considerate and respectful.
If you join a meeting or a chat, participate like others.
Do not share any internal information you learn here.
Proactively inform us about any conflict of interest that arises from you learning what we do and work to resolve it.
The most likely source of such conflict is if you learn about an ongoing project that overlaps with one of your own collaborations. In that case inform us and your other collaborators about the potential conflict of interest. We will then figure out the best way forward.
To join, the guests should contact Anton or Michael, then create an account at http://gitlab.kwant-project.org/ and request membership at http://gitlab.kwant-project.org/qt
If you want to invite someone to the group, discuss it with Anton and Michael, and point them to this document.
